    Best grip for precision AR?

Looking for a grip with a bit of width to it as well as a shelf on the right side in order to rest the thumb. Want to get my trigger finger as close to 90° as possible but all the grips I’ve found so far are tiny (BCM MAGPUL etc)
Why do the loudest do the least?

Try the Ergo Deluxe grip. I use it on my precision(ish) AR 308, and when rested, it really does rest/isolate the hand well allowing me to shoot to the rifle's potential.

My favorite grip is the Hogue over molded but it doesn’t have the thumb shelf

Ergo deluxe looks really good. I think I will go with that.

I've been in your boat and have gone through multiple grips. I've turned all my precision buddies onto the same grip. Its texture, grippiness and how that slight bulge in the grip makes it absolutley amazing. It's perfect for thumb over or standard grip. You made a fantastic choice and you'll understand when you put it on. Cheers!

I like the Luth-AR over the Ergo. No right-side thumbrest but the palm swell places my finger in a better position for long range shooting

The ergo might be perfect. Which one does Larue use? That one felt good on my trigger set up I bought.

I like the beefy magppul ones that take up all the extra length of finger pull.

Good look with your new choice.

I started a similar thread a while back that had some pretty good info. I ended up going with an Ergo deluxe.
