Daniel Defense M4 V7, DD MK 18, or Gessele URG on Pistol Lower

Which would you choose for a pistol lower, and what would be key factor for you?

Daniel Defense M4 V7 S 11.5 inch URG with Surefire Suppressor
Daniel Defense MK 18 10.3 inch URG with Surefire Suppressor
Gessele 10.3 inch URG for a Pistol Lower?

    Thanks for your input.

10.3 if OAL measured out to >26". I like to have the option of putting on a vertical foregrip.

i'd pick the DD M4V7S due to it being the lightest in weight.

adding a can, optic, BUIS, light/laser, sling, etc to any AR pistol and it becomes quite heavy, so starting with the lightest URG makes sense to me.

all tricked out, my 11.5" DD M4V4SBR upper (it kinda like the MK18) is heavier than i'd like. i wish i had bought the lighter M4V7S instead.

Partial to an 11.5 inch barrel for several reasons. Would DD M4 V7 S Upper with 11.5 inch barrel and Surefire Suppressor exceed the 26 inch mark? Does one measure from end of buffer tube to point where threads begin on muzzle? Thanks for help.

We're actually discussing this now in the AR Pistol subforum. I'm not the authority on this, just did a good amount of research. I know that the measurement is minus any removable muzzle devices. If the MD is pinned, for example, it adds to the measurement. What is not clear is the brace being extended or collapsed. I've seen both answers. If you just have a receiver extension than it's pretty obvious.

It's an old post as some things have changed since 2014. If you have a short barrel, NO stock, and a VFG the OAL must be >26".

I would go with the 11.5, as I prefer that in shorty ARs.
