Casual observation suggests the 2011 9mm stuff is pretty well ironed out reliability wise nowadays no?

Are there reliable 11+ rd mags in .45?

(Before its brought up I would not be interested in a double-stack 1911)
Pretty sure MecGar makes an 11 round .45 1911 mag. I've never used one so I can't speak to it's reliability.

Yup. Strange that the highest capacity quality single stack 1911 mag is in .45.

Yup, I have successfully bent some old .45 mags feed lips to feed .38 SA ammo. My plan being to buy one of the MecGar 11 round .45 mags and converting it to .38 Super.

A straight wall case like the .38 Super Auto would do well with an extended mag. I have long wished for one.
