    300 rnds in 3 years?

Edit: this can’t be right. I do this weekly. No way. If OP is running 100rnds/yr, he can go at least 15 years between cursory cleanings. How does one stay proficient with that firing schedule?

Should have taken your time instead of making a hasty unfortunate decision.

FWIW, M&P Sport owners have been posting generally positive reviews since the Sport was first released several years ago. Shoot and enjoy your rifle.

I've been shooting semiautos since 1993 and love my WASR-10, 1911A1, and XD 9 Mod 2. I did much research online before I did same upgrades, too.
I wish you the best in all your endeavors.

Wait a minute!!! Stop right now!!!

    You mean just shoot it?

Shouldn't you disassemble a factory built rifle to check the carrier key screw torque, break loose the barrel nut to check it's torque, and bust the stakes on the castle nut to ensure the castle nut is properly torqued, then remove the FCG to check it?

You got to be crazy man, just taking a rifle out of the box and shooting it. Blasphemy.

Glad I tuned in to a possible troll thread, there’s still some good info to be gleaned here.

34 years of studying and the ultimate choice was an MP15 Sport II?
