This is clearly a troll post. Take a look at the OP's posting history.

OP came in telling us what upgrades made his weapon more reliable, not here's what I have what should I do. Comments like "300 in 3 years" and making broad statements about reliability? Cmon. That's like 2 rounds a week. "34 years of study before adoption"? GTFO with that shit. That's what makes this a troll even if that wasn't the real intent. Hopefully, it's simply a new guy not knowing the customs of M4C, but I haven't seen a mod come in yet to gentle down the natives on this one. I think IG would have locked it before page two started.

    Sorry guys, not buying it.

I've been shooting semiautos since 1993 and love my WASR-10, 1911A1, and XD 9 Mod 2. I did much research online before I did same upgrades, too.
Wait a minute. We "study" the AR platform from since Jimmy Carter was president, and only 5 years ago we finally make the ($600) purchase, and then in 5 years we fire 300 rounds. And what "reliability " problems manifested themselves in that 300 rounds that prompted the listed modifications?

    Hmm.

The (not so good) reverend can't help himself. He's a troll. His way of stirring the pot after hearing about IG's untimely passing. He'll be back under another screen name after this one gets shut down.

Yes, there have been some. But what about the others? A guy makes a post about reliability and clearly wants to talk about reliability with you guys since you guys have long-term experience, and someone simply tells him he is at the wrong forum? I always want to talk about reliability and I always want reasoning and facts not just citing brand names as some sort of proof.

Bunch of negativity here fella's. You have to remember, you all started somewhere and that road could have a long learning curve if you didn't have exit signs or knew it went out of town and over the mountain. How about helping the guy out some verses running him off as if everyone here is the end all know it all ass.

If he turns to be a troll or doesn't like constructive criticism, so be it.

Op, yes you need thick skin and learn to read and sort through the information, who the resident trolls are and who can actually help out to help you learn what you truly need to know.
