Offset irons, offset red dot, or invest in new mount?

I have an SPR/DMR build I really enjoy but my BUIS is basically unusable if the time came for it as the mounting hardware for my 2.5-10 is not QD. Should I invest in a LaRue QD, or some offset Irons or a red dot like an RMR or deltapoint? I’m conflicted on which will give me the best bang for my buck.

Just buy some magpul offsets. Make sure your lower will accept them. Some fancy Vltor etc sometimes won't work.

The RMR is nice but expensive with mount

Offset irons for me. Dueck Defense was the first pair I've owned, but I like the folding Magpuls.

I like Griffin Armament offset sight (https://www.griffinarmament.com/m2-s...eployment-kit/) you can configure them as regular and as an offset sight.

For purely offset sights it's hard to beat KAC: https://www.knightarmco.com/12642/sh...-kit-300-meter

I dont have offset, but I love my KAC micros. I also would vote for the KAC sights.

I prefer offset irons as humidity / fogging optics can be a big issue down south. So if my RDS / Scope is fogged over, so will an offset RDS.

This, and I don't like to have to reconfirm zero after removing a magnified optic to access my irons. I know I know, return to zero mounts blah blah blah

You make a good point, I think I’ll go with offset irons.

Offset RMR for me. Very usable package. Only downside is the cost.
