    I prefer the hex head screw with star washer myself. I've never had one come loose and I don't use thread locker unless it was already on the screw via the grip manufacturer.

    I loctite literally every screw that goes into a rifle. Flashlight to mount. Mount to rifle. Pistol grips. Lasers. I even asked DocSherm to loctite my Larue Rail’s lock nuts. He probably didn’t - it’s not necessary.

    With that said, I loctite the pistol grip screw but always put the teeth toward the plastic - opposite of everyone in this thread. I’ve never had an issue.

    Ditto. Some also get witness marks as well.
