I'm literally happy for you. Let use know how you like it after a few hundred rounds. In my first precision AR, I did the trigger last. A first couple hundred rounds were with a mil-spec trigger before picking up a lightly used SSA-E in the E&E. I truly appreciate the upgrade, especially on target.

I have a lot of time behind various bolt action rifles and the trigger has always been key, for me. I love the semi-auto precision, but again, the trigger, in my opinion, is nearly everything (assuming fundamentals are under control). I can't wait to swap out the trigger on the LMT, get this in and get back out and see what she can do, rather, what I can do, at 100 with the Nightforce 2.5-20, and Federal GMM .157 SMKs. Based on the results I got with the stock trigger and 3x magnification of a 2 MOA Aimpoint Red Dot (and I had to wear my reading glasses to see an actual "dot" instead of a "fuzzy thing" .... I'm stocked.

What is about the allure of getting the best possible groups?

Am I ever going to be out in combat hunting down the bad guys? Probably not.

But I'd like to think if they were coming at me from 100 yards, I'd drop them like flies, for a while.

I have two of the High Speed National Match triggers one in my AR-10 and one in an AR-15. I use these guns for long range shooting

I run SSA in all my AR's except one. I have the enhanced in one and I break that trigger accidentally almost every time I take it too the range. So, I stick with SSA's because I know them perfectly. And I love them.

Maybe you should put the SSA-E on the E&E...SSAs are on sale right now.

I run SSA-E both in my precision (MK12 clone) and carbines. In my MWS I actually run Larue precision trigger. With the light spring it's very similar to SSA-E. The only difference is the trigger shoe is a big wider and flatter.

The Geissele triggers are very nice I will take nothing away from them but for a more budget minded build the Larue MBT is very good at $80.

They are closer than most would expect given the price difference. I ran two rifles back to back on Monday, one with an SSA-E and one with the Larue MBT-2s. The lesser magnification on one rifle made a bigger difference than which trigger was in which rifle for pinging steel out to 700. The rifle with the larger scope comfortably gave me hits out to 800, and the rifle with the 3x9 power scope comfortably made hits to 700. Both scopes were Vortex.
