dang, USCG drug smuggling vessel interdiction's

At first I thought it was another Fonzie Jumping a Shark, but it is the real deal! Dang took some balls to jump on the vessel

U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Munro (WMSL 755) crew members board a self-propelled semi-submersible suspected drug smuggling vessel (SPSS) June 18, 2019, while operating in international waters of the Eastern Pacific Ocean. Purpose-build smuggling vessels like SPSSs are designed to hold large quantities of contraband while evading detection by law enforcement authorities.

Forgot to add: notice the equipment the jumper had on.

If I didn't know that was real, I'd swear it was a movie.

    Good stuff.

AMEN, for sure he had a set of balls!

In the 60's I spent some time in SE Asia, the USCG & USMM never received credit for their part. In the early days the majority of troops arrived via boat vs air.

    I salute them both!

You know this would have ended much better had someone just lit that damn thing up with the .50.

Imagine how much less money this BS would cost if they just chopped it up with 50 cal and let it sink.

Huge balls, but I agree with this:

It's obviously a drug ship, no point risking our people's lives to board and knock.

At some point all the drama likely comes down to weight and the inability for the folks inside to hear anything over the engine noise.
But its all dope so really, who cares if the get to weigh it? Sink them and you be able to find and deal with another faster.
