Leupold AR Mod 1 Firedot SPR.. mounting opinions

I just picked one of these up.. it is 1.5X4X20MM calibrated for a 55 grain bullet.... This is primarily for a range gun and maybe... hunting

I would like to get a 1 piece for it (1 inch tube diameter) with either quick connect or bolted mounting option.

    Opinions are appreciated

    Thanks!

The new LaRue SPR mount is QD and you can get 1" rings for it. It locks up tight and there is not a mount that can come close to it for RTZ and cost.

In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

I would buy that LaRue C.A.N mount in a heartbeat, you can't beat LaRue quality and with CAN, LAT and MBT they are undercutting other top makers by $100 bucks or more.

I had a Patrol SPR and put it in an Aero Precision mount. The combo weighed under 1 pound. Don't let anyone poo poo the lightweight mount.. It's not like you are putting a bomb proof scope into it..

I have my Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 SPR Firedot on an American Defense QD mount. Been using it for years with no issues.

I would also recommend the Aero light weight, Geissele super precision cantilever and Burris PEPR mounts. I have and use all of them and they all work as advertised.

I had one of these scopes with an Aero light wight mount, it worked. i wouldn't trust the Aero for something heavier but it seem to fit the little Leupold.

This, and if it's just range and hunting use you don't really need QR. However, that LaRue mount looks temping for a bit more money.
