I also think it's Trump's election to lose, but you can't underestimate his ability to destroy himself. The tweets about the "Four" were a huge unforced error. I was really enjoying watching the democrats tear themselves apart and he had to step in and give them something to unite around.

I'm also more concerned about 2024 and Trump being a repeat of Nixon - not for impeachment, but of the party itself abandoning everything for another term (2020). Nixon was the worst thing to happen to Republicans (leaving Watergate out of it) since Hoover. He didn't give one shit about what happened to the party and as a result the dems had overwhelming majorities in Congress. We are already seeing it - principled Republicans giving in to kowtow to anti-Republican positions of Trump, chiefly, deficits and protectionism. The only variable here is how far left the dems go and how amenable the voting public is to "free shit".

I used to think that. But it never happens because his actions speak louder. I think for all those that hate his decorum they appreciate his candor even more. Rasmussen showed a 4% jump on the polls for Trump after talking about the “four.” That they were infighting was a fraternal Dem spat. Now it’s coffee table conversation. You’d be surprised how many good people in 2019 are still unaware of the danger of the Dems.

TRump turns lemons into lemonade, and if he doesn't have any lemons, he makes lemons, or uses a lime, an orange, or a squash- what ever is around.

The Republican party is still mostly in opposition them. They missed the sea change that Trump IS the new Republican Party. Much as I hate Paul Ryan, he was at least smart enough to see the Old Guard was whipped.

With these anti-Semitic communists taking over the Democratic Party the only way I see President Trump losing in 2020 is through voter fraud and lawsuits.

Was it though? He's keeping the focus on the most radical and boisterous element of the Democratic party. The ones who espouse communist views, want open borders and hate law enforcement. The ones who want to steal money from people who aren't like them, to give to people who are. The longer he controls the identity of the Democratic party by highlighting these radical leftists, the more centrists he's going to turn against them.

No one cares what the histrionic diehards have to say, they've already cast their votes. It's the undecided he has to turn against them, and he is. He also has to keep the fire lit under his diehard fans. I'd personally rather have him take a "hide and watch" approach, but that's not his style. He's doing the only thing he knows how to do. Time will tell if that's enough.

Straight out of Alinsky: "Pick your target, define it, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it." Watching Trump hoist these un-American Commie shitstains by the very petard they've used against us for decades is positively schadenfreude-alicious... hopefully he inspires the rest of the GOP to quit being a bunch of ladyboy sissies in dresses and keep giving the Left generous helpings of their own medicine until they tap out. Problem is the limp-dicked, panty-wearing sissycucks of the Bill Kristol/Nevertard Establishment Wing...
