    I also think it's Trump's election to lose, but you can't underestimate his ability to destroy himself. The tweets about the "Four" were a huge unforced error. I was really enjoying watching the democrats tear themselves apart and he had to step in and give them something to unite around.

    I'm also more concerned about 2024 and Trump being a repeat of Nixon - not for impeachment, but of the party itself abandoning everything for another term (2020). Nixon was the worst thing to happen to Republicans (leaving Watergate out of it) since Hoover. He didn't give one shit about what happened to the party and as a result the dems had overwhelming majorities in Congress. We are already seeing it - principled Republicans giving in to kowtow to anti-Republican positions of Trump, chiefly, deficits and protectionism. The only variable here is how far left the dems go and how amenable the voting public is to "free shit".
