    House Votes Down Trump Impeachment

    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-...ment-wednesday

As was widely expected, the House voted down a measure that would have opened the door to impeaching President Trump, the New York Times reports.

The measure was introduced by Texas Rep. Al Green, who had repeatedly introduced similar measures before Democrats took control of the House in January. Green said he introduced the measure because Trump's racist comments - for telling members of the "squad" to 'go back to your own country' - justified impeachment.

The vote was 332-95 to table - that is, kill - Green's resolution. Democrats voted 137-95 with one voting "present", and Republicans voted Rep. Al Green's (D-TX) impeachment resolution. Democrats 137-95 (with 1 voting "present") Republicans unanimously voted against it 194-0 and the newly independent Justin Amash also voted against.
My take: I think enough Democrats knew that impeachment was a poison pill that would hurt them in the long run that they wisely voted it down.

    Orange Man invincible. For now.

Trump is the only one who can take down Trump. I always cringe when he hits the tweet button but the ensuing carnage is always fun to watch.

IMHO, racism is destroying the Democratic Party from within. Joe, Bernie,Chuck,Nancy, Nadler, Schift, etc. , they are old and white and our going under the bus one way or another. If the economy and stock market stays strong, Trump will absolutely be re-elected President in 2020!!!

I certainly plan to vote for him, but I am afraid of massive voter fraud and election rigging. Desperate people do desperate things, and I am concerned we may be in for an election fight, even after election day, which could turn violent.

That’s my primary concern. And not just election fraud but the electoral college getting axed at the same time throwing everything to SCOTUS to decide the next election.

I hope it is a massive land slide for Trump and we retake the House starting a Schrie Murray victory in NY's 14th.

Ding, ding, ding! The Greeks don't even have a play that explores the depth of his ability to self destroy- and how that is tied into his ability to succeed. When the politics finally fade in 100 years, the historians will have a real interesting time with him and the era we live in.

It is going to get reaaally messy in the next election, and unfortunately, afterwards too.

Frankly, unless Trump killed someone, I don't see how there could be any more mud that could possible taint him. The economy is moving, but slowing. The GOP finally took off the handcuffs and are using the budget to keep things going. When the Chinese realize that Trump will probably win- and that if he does they are going to get an even worse deal than what is be offered now, they'll come back and that will juice the economy and get farmers/ag back in the MAGA camp.

I think it would be ultimately, cosmically and hilarious if the ChiComs come in covertly for the dem in hope of a better deal- and they get caught- a reverse Trump Dossier/Putin love fest. You can already see it with Biden saying nice things about China...
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

My friend, we already have that... it's how Seattle gets 100% turnout of its 24% of Washington's population, and uses that to win 40%-turnout elections and run roughshod over the other 76% of us. Google "Rossi v Gregoire" sometime... and Seattle is amateur-hour net to New Yuck, Hell A, San Franshithole and Chiraq.

I see the President winning reelection, baring anything major.

I also don't think what the told the 4 bitches was wrong, you want to turn the USA into a socialist paradise then get the hell out.

I don't see the democratic party being able to return the socialist genie to the bottle anytime soon. Which I think is wonderful, since it will cost them election after election except in the places like San Fransisco, Seattle, NYC,etc.

When the President wins reelection by a good amount, then it will get really crazy.

2022 and 2024 elections concern me, but then again as nobody saw President Trump coming on the scene just a few years ago maybe once again we will get lucky.

For the USA, is the key to the good of the whole world. If the USA ever goes socialist, then the whole world will suffer. The world economy will suffer, we will see more wars, and yes even more disease as the efforts that Americans fund and staff around the world will go away due to high taxes in the USA.

G-D Bless President Trump and the USA, and may He give us the wisdom and courage to save the Rwepublic.
