ETA - I'm relisting this at a significant loss. I don't want a 16" but also can't justify the cost of swapping the rail to 13" and cutting down the barrel.
Used but in great condition SR-15 upper. There are some marks on the rail from mounting accessories but the upper has only seen 100 total rounds, all of which were new factory BTHPs fired during one range session. The only reason I’m selling it is because I decided that I wanted a 14.5” instead. Comes in factory box with all accessories except for the standard bolt carrier because it was switched out for a KAC sand cutter carrier. Asking $1,375 face to face in CO Springs or $1,405 shipped and insured. Payment via Venmo or PayPal (friends and family or add 4% if using goods and services). Not looking for any trades.
In full disclosure, this is the upper from this thread. It went back to KAC and while I'm not sure what they did, of all the companies out there, my guess is that it works perfectly now. If you are seriously interested but unsure about buying because of this, let me know and I'll get a hold of KAC CS for an official answer on what they found and any work they did.
ETA - function tested this with 80 rounds from various manufacturers so round count is now 180. Worked perfectly after coming back from KAC.
This is all blue loc-tite residue, I tried getting it off but I don't have a plastic scraper and didn't want to mess up the finish with a metal pick.
