I'm pretty sure he still makes them himself, too. It's always nice to support the little guy.
Got an RS-2 on my 10/22. It gets the job done.

The Blue Force Gear Vickers Sling is my go to. Got tired of rigging my GI sling, so when I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 I bought the Vickers. Still using that same sling to this day and it has a permanent home on my personal MK 18. Tried the whole single point sling in 08 while deployed to Iraq. It may have a place, but I didn't find it.

My primary occupation is still at Ase Utra sound suppressors.

Also a part owner for several years at Treaper Ltd.

Here is another alternative that has not been mentioned, the Recon sling from us:

    https://www.3hgr.fi/en/verkkokauppa/tuotteet/3hgr-recon

    - Quality materials with IR protection
    - Does not absorb water in the same way as slings that utilize cotton in the sling material. So very good feature from the arctic to the jungles.
    - Very good pricing for the quality

Great sling overall, even compared to the BFG VCAS slings, which I have personally used for many years.

    Best Regards!

S.O.B. Tactical B-sling. Simple to use, quick adjust. Multiple attachment options. Comes with a combat band to keep it secure while transporting.

Second vote for the SOB. Especially the wide version.

And a third, I definitely prefer the pull toward me to tighten aspect of the B-sling.

I was going to suggest just going with a Vickers/BFG sling on a sale around Black Friday or upcoming Christmas. The comfort of the padded Vickers goes a LONG way when walking around with it for a while.

I own VTAC and WOTG and both are great for diff reasons, but the Vickers padded is the most comfy for long times when carrying without shooting.

Pretty useful for some tactical stuff as well.
