I liked it. OK, the whole F-14 sequence may have been stretching things a bit but not a bad flick.

Rebels attack on the original Death Star

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

Fun movie. It definitely needs to be seen on the big screen with an audience. The flight cinematography is amazing.

Agreed, but the parts leading up to it were funny in a movie that really wasn't comedy.

    "What were you thinking?!"

"You told me not to think!"

All in all, it was better than the original IMO. I liked the principle behind it, loved the cast and the in flight scenes were amazing.

Go watch it in theaters. Better yet, pay the money for the 4-D experience. Holy crap.

Best movie in a long time, not woke, real airplanes and the Japanese and Taiwan flags are back on the flight jacket. And Cruise's P-51 is to die for.

Saw it with the family at an IMAX. During the previews, I could tell that my wife was having issues with the scope of the screen, and we were almost at the back, plus those seats are small, the 'pitch' of the seating is steep- and we were towards the back, but dead center. The movie is well tailored to the IMAX format- so the issues with the screen went away with the movie coming on. HIghly suggest it at the IMAX.
