It's the AMMO, not the comp!!

I was shooting my 10.5 at an indoor range; and when I switched from one type of ammo to another, the flash was very noticeable.

Jeez, you aimin' to put a hole in the target or light it on fire there?

I kid, I kid... however, it does seem to me that setting a bad guy's clothes on fire gives him an additional thing to take his attention off you. LOL

    How fast are you shooting?
Do you not notice this with other ammo/flash hiders when shooting at the same speed?

Flash is a lot worse when shooting full auto/quickly.

In the first pic that was one shot. It did that every time.

The second shot you can see 3 pieces of brass in the photo plus the one being fired. So yeah it was quick lol

That's normal in my experience with a 11.3". I don't think Wolf has a flash retardant added. Plus, it is also a bit "sparky" too. On a short barrel even my A2 shows a little flash about every third or fourth shot.

Shooting inside or next to a building is exactly what you've described. I think the BCM works a LOT better on a 16/18/20 (less unexploded powder).

Love my YHM Phantom SC5 on my 545x39 and 11.5 556 pistol. Slightly more effective than an A2.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

but it's still on my list.

Try Hornady Interlock ammo, it’s designed for SBRs.

You dont even have to go with something that expensive. Serisouly for training/plinking use; I use a mix of m193 clones and russian steel case. The cheap russian ammo has very little flash (even from 10.5) where as the m193 clones feel like a picture was just taken. It serisouly messed with me the first time I noticed it at an indoor range. Swapping between the ammo SIGNIFICANTLY altered a rifles flash signature.
