I've still got to get a proper Garand someday too, dammit...
No hard feelings here either, nor any taken that way, there are a lot of things that communicate clearer face-to-face than text on screen. Maybe I shoulda led with something like "building a Museum Quality Replica." I'm always an oddball case, particularly being the white-shirt-and-tie Poindexter in a community of Trigger Pullers who are tougher on your WORST days than I at my BEST, so I'm used to "a little extra explaining" about why I may have counterintuitive goals and philosophies.

Ctrl-B will get it from a normal keyboard, just like Word. Or square brackets around B to start and /B to stop. Or just click the "B" in the bar above the "type here" space... HTH.

Don't laugh, but the FLC is fairly popular among airsoft players, as an alternative to the tacticool-but-cheesy Chinese knockoffs of the more modern plate carriers, etc.

They equip them with magazine pouches, pistol mag pouches, canteen carrier, dump pouch, and sometimes a couple of grenade pouches.

Just to update things, I have the USMC Chest Rig kit, now I need to figure out what to hang on it and where. The funny thing is I'm a big dude for my stubby height, and still had to cinch it down to the smallest possible strap lengths--even there it's still a little loose.

One dump pouch, two frag pouches, canteen carrier, five more MAG556-MCT PMAGs, don't think mag shingles apply when your rig has a full combat load's mag pockets built right in... radio and GPS don't apply for gear to fill it out in a "range education" setting though might be a good place to keep my phone handy, not dealing with rucksacks or plates yet since I'm building this gearup a little at a time, what other boxes do I need to tick off?

I found this Youtube video shot in August--while it shows an Army TAP, I'd assume USMC practice would be similar.

According to this, I need to add:
    Strong-side end canteen pouch
Weak-side end IFAK and tourniquet carrier
1 frag pouch each side, just inboard of canteen/IFAK

Pouches in the TAP obviate the shingles, but this still leaves the question of where do I attach the dump pouch?

Army doesn’t use(or issue), dump pouches as a standard issue item. I used a personally purchased one for my first two deployments after getting permission from my COC, but yea it is another one of the differences between Army and USMC load outs.

    "Warriors"

Out of every 100 men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets. Nine are the real fighters and we are lucky to have them for they make the battle. Ah, but the one...one is a Warrior, and he will bring all the others back.

I have a flc setup, it's a bastardized rig mix of rifleman and medic for when I value speed over armor. My personal favorite setup remains TAPS panel on the Plate Carrier because I hated the IOTV. My gear evolved from the late 80's with the issued Alice gear, then the LBV88, to the FLC and it's off shoots. Certain gear makes life easier but in reality use what works for you, I am/was a medic, so my gear reflects my reality now.
