Range Report: Blazer Black .223
So this is the Black Friday/Christmas 2018 ammo deal.
I have nothing good to say about it. Well, it didn’t blow up. That’s good.
I used it to re-zero a gun that I had adjusted the scope on. I could not get it to group at all using an 11.5” BCM ELW. I’d have a 5 shot group 5 inches wide in the upper right quadrant of the target paper. Then the next string would be 4 inches wide in the lower left quadrant of that paper. Vertical stringing, horizontal stringing. Zero consistency. All from the 100 yard line.
This gun is a capable shooter. I’ve stacked rounds with AE 55 gr .223 before.
To see what’s up, I loaded some AE 75gr and put three rounds inside 1.25”.
This stuff is now reserved for 15 yards and in burn down sessions.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand
