I had someone tell me that the TAP Gamma Plus plates haven't been aging well. They said the glue used to bond the ceramic to the fibers deteriorates over time.

Of course we all know that out of date armor can't be guaranteed to work, but we also know that most armor is typically a lot more shelf stable than the NIJ expiration dates would have us believe.

Is there anything to this claim specifically applicable to the TAP Gammas? I mean, are they an exception, or are they as good to go as any other similar out of date armor, such as milsurp SAPI plates?
