New G19 Gen5 "FS" No cutout, not MOS

    https://us.glock.com/en/pistols/g19-gen5-fs-us

Looks like Glock is releasing the "new" Gen 5 19 with front serrations, no grip cutout, and non MOS. I personally don't care about the front serrations, but the non cutout frame is what I prefer.

    Edited to add:
I called Glock and was directed to sales, who told me they just started shipping these on July 27th. The guy told me they still have a lot of the "old" Gen 5s in inventory that will still be shipping out for a little while.

I'm planning to buy one as soon as I can get my hands on one.

This is how the gen 5 should’ve been from the get go. I now have zero complaints about the Gen 5.

This is great news. I would have gotten this one rather than the MOS so I could have bought HDs

Well, I'm probably not going to sell my G17.5 with the cut-out, but I may buy a new one to add to the family. That with a RMR, X330U, minus connector, and SSVI trigger would make me pretty happy.

The cut out is fine in the 17, it is the 19 where it eats up my pinky

    They make MOS-friendly HDs.

Oh Hey Mai! Okay now this!

    Thanks for the heads-up!

I still wish they undercut the trigger guard a little, but it’s not nearly the issue that it used to be without the finger grooves. Also the serrations are slippery compared to ATEis, but this is nit picky stuff and I’d say that this is now easily the best factory handgun available.
