Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President... - Theodore Roosevelt, Lincoln and Free Speech, Metropolitan Magazine, Volume 47, Number 6, May 1918.
Every Communist must grasp the truth. Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party Mao Zedong, 6 November, 1938 - speech to the Communist Patry of China's sixth Central Committee
I have/had every iteration of Geissele trigger, except for the competition models, and the 1 LaRue MBT I have is at least as good as any of them, if not better. I wish I’d found them first - would’ve saved me a few hundred $. I also have a Wilson single stage, but it’s too expensive for what it is.
Everyone says, “Unless you don’t like 2 stage triggers”, but, honestly, on any of the 2 stage triggers I have, Geissele or LaRue, I almost never notice the 2nd stage. Probably has something to do with being very used to pistol triggers with a little stacking.
Botach and a few other places have been selling that same trigger for awhile, usually $79.99 but unlike PSA, that includes the pins you'd need to install if starting from scratch. Also, that's the same trigger that Savage has put into their MSR 10 updated Hunter models that are coming out this fall (possibly some of their updated AR15 models too). Seems to be a popular trigger. That Schmid trigger is interesting, Schmid has a solid reputation and has been manufacturing milspec parts (and other stuff) for a long time. If I didn't go with another SSA-E or try the Larue, the Schmid looks worth a try.
