    OWB Holster Recommendation

I searched through 25 pages of threads; over a year and a half, and there was no mention of OWB holsters. Search doesn’t turn up much either.

I’m looking for OWB Holster recommendations (Glock 17) for around the house, classes and possible ccw.

I currently use a JM custom kydex aiwb wing claw 2.5 for ccw, and have a Gunfighters Inc kenai chest holster for riding the atv/bike/tractor and walking through the woods.

I’ll probably go with the JM Custom, but wanted to check in here first. Thanks

Local shops only have serpas 🤦🏼*♂️

JM Custom kydex is where you need to go. The search ends there for kydex.

Some good leather here, if you don't want a long wait:

If you have patience, go here and be prepared to up to 20 weeks of wait, but it's worth the wait:

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

JM Custom makes really good stuff. I just ordered yet another holster from them for my Sig P320 X-Compact.

I carry AIWB exclusively for concealed carry, but have a few OWB holsters just because. I am a big fan of the Raven Concealment Perun for OWB when I'm not using Safariland retention holsters. I have the Perun for X300U equipped Glocks. I can use the same one for my G19, G19X, and G17 with the X300U attached. I actually prefer it to my old Phantoms which have since been sold off.

Vedder makes great holsters as does crossbreed and blackdog holsters.

I have 2 OWB for my G19. 1 from JM Custom as well as leather holster from Tucker and Byrd.

The leather holster is much more comfortable. Highly recommend. Get the matching mag pouch

JM Custom for Kydex, Milt Sparks for leather. Galco and El Paso Saddlery make decent leather as well is time/money is an issue.

I have an OWB Raven Concealment and an IWB Black Arch. Black Arch makes nice OWB's also. It's when you get into light bearing holsters, the model light and model gun starts to limit your choices sometimes.

Raven Prerun (or phantom) or Safariland 7378 is what I run on plain clothes, light duty and sometimes in training.

DeSantis Leather is a good choice too. I have several 002 Speed Scabbards,

DSG Arms Holsters in DFW area has a HD thicker kydex holster for OWB, with and without lights https://dsgarms.com/holsters-and-duty-gear

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.
