Market value- yes.
Is it worth it to you is the question.
An alloy frame revolver is typically a “carry often, shoot infrequently” gun as a rule.
There would be better range guns for the same price (m10 K frame).
I would like one of those.
Model 12s have a place as carry guns. They were the Glock 19 before we discovered the future. +P issue is as much from the recoil to the shooter and cartridges as the frame. It is an Airweight - Heaven on the belt, hell on the hands.
My experience is they are pussycats with a decent grips and moderate target cartridges.
They have some unusual features, such as a slightly narrower frame than K frame and an older firing pin on the hammer through most of the production.
If I see one that functions at the $300 price point... my wallet is coming out.
Like NYPD and LAPD in the OLD days, load it with 158gr Lead Semi-wadcutter. 850fps

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.
Greg Ellifritz just did an excellent write-up on his favorite K Frames. Much praise for the Model 12 -
“My favorite of all is the airweight K-Frame Model 12. The all steel Model 10 weighs in at around 34 ounces. The aluminum framed Model 12 is nearly a pound lighter at 19 ounces. It’s a big difference when you carry the gun in a pocket or on your ankle. I actually carry the Model 12 airweight in an ankle holster every day as my backup gun at work. It’s small and light enough to carry on my ankle comfortably and it holds one more round than the more common J-Frame snubs. What’s not to like?” https://www.activeresponsetraining.n...se+Training%29
