More officers live the above quote than not, unfortunately, like any population, the outliers pop to the surface and 'enjoy' more publicity than the vast majority of officers.
ETA: Geissele is perfectly within his rights to give preference in pricing and delivery to whatever population he wants, whether it be LE or members of the John Brown Gun Club.
