    • continuous top rail
    • no sights
    • no magazine
    • box content about the same
    • QMS trigger
    • ambi selector (R side stub)
    • no blue line on rail

Balance of everything is about the same. $850 + shipping. I'll mount an optic, lube, fill with ammo, and treat like a lawnmower. Function testing with premium and garbage ammo to follow.
I got mine in a few days ago and it didn’t have a blue line either. My pistol I bought a few weeks ago has it. Wonder when they changed the rifle

    UPDATE

    • installed Aimpoint T1 and sling
    • replaced A2 hider with Vortex G6-A2, slight adjustment to sight after swap
    • ~1000 rounds, 11 loads, .223 and 5.56, 50gr to 77gr, includes light impulse lead-free ammo
    • initial 25yd near zero -1.5”, shot as expected 100 to 400yds with typical holds
    • impulse is unique, mid-length like but a little different, smoother
    • maritime bolt catch is handy
    • QMS trigger is smooth with a clean break, better than mil, not quite an ALG ACT
    • early indications that barrel is a little over 1 MOA, no worse than 1.5
    • handguards heat up like comparable others
    • overall handling and balance is good, handles fast and well
    • i can take or leave the B5 SOPMOD stock, no complaint but may be an opportunity to cut weight
    • barrel is gov profile, I wouldn’t mind a LW profile in this configuration
    • grip screw is proper slotted head – no allen key required

Overall, like this rifle very much. Outstanding value.

I bought the 16” back in November and the pistol in early April. I just received my form 1 approval on the pistol. Great rifles for the price!

Nice setups. I just ordered a leupold LPVO for my 16” and thinking of putting the same LPVO on my pistol as well. You think a 1-4x on the pistol would be too much? And how long did it take to get the Form 1 back? Thinking of going that route as well.

I don’t personally like using an LPVO on a SBR, kind of defeats the purpose of trying to stay compact and light. LPVO’s with nice mounts are heavy.

My most recent Form 1 was submitted in 4/20/20 and approved on 5/13/20. Submitted everything from the comfort of my own home, even the fingerprints.

Not that it necessarily matters, but has anyone found out the gas port size on the LE pistol?

.068 from what I recall in G's industry forum on TOS.

I'll probably pick up a Super Duty later this month.

Thanks. Is that what the DD MK18 went back to?

Got it. I’m not trying to hijack this thread but I’m still learning things everyday. So will the Geissele be less reliable due to smaller port size?
