A kac 11.5” with m16 lower and optic of choice... maybe a thermal, along with a decent helmet nv monocular and mawl?

Full disclosure- I own none of these... yet.

Skip the AR, if *you're* paying and seeing to the legal/paperwork crap I'm gettin' a PIG... and the Huey to mount it on.

18” lightweight chrome-lined barrel tapered to mostly pencil, with extra care given during installation to maximize accuracy
    Lightweight 14” MLOK handguard
    FSB
    Centurion Arms rear sight
MARS-LS full auto lower with A5 system

Some sort of uber-cool, lightweight 1-5-10x optic that doesn’t exist yet, with programmable BDC’s based on the ammo you select.

Might not be light, but all the pieces already exist to build exactly that, it's just a matter of figuring out how to put them all together. A typical smartphone has MORE than enough computing power to do it, and it would be helped immensely if sighting lasers could be adapted to also rangefind whatever the dot's on. From there it shouldn't be too complicated to have an app take the range, ballistics of the selected round, and feed that into a holographic projector on an Eotech--you could even add an Aliens pulse-rifle style round counter by adding an RFID reader and a couple chips in the mag to measure distance between them.

Eotech's basic architecture has a LOT of headroom for growth that's never really been explored since the EoHack project was abandoned. I know, that's not a magnified optic...

Same here, except mine was a Colt.

Which is what I have, a RR Colt M16A1 manufactured in 1983.

However, mine is now upgraded with a 6933 upper, Daniel Defense Omega rail, BCM ion-bonded bcg, Geissele SSF fcg, Vltor Emod stock and AAC M42K suppressor.

I like your way of thinkin', Lincoln... spent many miserable days lugging one of those. Loved shooting it, hated cleaning it.
