M16A1'ish stock that will work on a carbine receiver extension???

There is the Rock River Arms Entry Stock Kit I fit is something that appeals to you. It is, however, shorter than an actual A1 stock, but it is fixed. It comes with its own carbine length buffer tube.

That vltor stock looks pretty cool. It says it mounts to a carbine or rifle extension. I'm assuming that it won't work with an a5, anybody know for sure?
