Are the PMag 40 round mags reliable?

If not, is there a better option?

I keep a 40 jammed between my seat in work car.

If things get dicey I can throw it in a back pocket and it gives more to grab in a hurry

Gives me a total of 100 rounds which should be plenty.

My 4 work just fine. Dont think I've had one malfunction in a couple thousand rounds at minimum.
