True but correct me if I’m wrong but the leadership of colt was a proponent of the ban even before it came into being yes?

Start planting memes saying "all the cool kids buy sub-Anderson stuff," maybe... (Full disclosure, I have ONE "poverty-pony" lower, and that's on a dedicated range-toy and only because I talked a local forum's owner into doing a run of Site Logo lowers and those were all he could get in the Panic of '16. I'd be tempted to say start memeing about how "you're not a REAL gun guy unless you Eighty Percent," but some of these losers are attentive to detail enough that they'd machine 'em right... and then bring *even more* unwanted attention on us DIY'ers.

Maybe start promoting Pro-Mag. Operators all use Pro-Mag...right?

Quite likely. It isn't unusual for anti 2nd Amendment initiatives to be backed by firearms manufacturers. Ruger's opposition to standard capacity magazines and concealable handguns comes to mind immediately.

Colt would cut off NFA dealers for selling M16's to private citizens and was big in to smart guns, so nothing would be a surprise.
