I’d like to try some, but the shipping for 10 is outrageous. I wonder if I call and ask if they will give me an accurate shipping quote. $19 is absurd.

They’re offering free shipping on orders over $100, which works out to 11 mags.
Do these mags have a plastic follower?
Thanks czgunner. One of the reviews on their site from 2016 referred to the follower as polymer.
No, it's plastic, as is the locking plate at the bottom of the spring. It's solid and shouldn't affect performance. It’s not as robust as a Magpul follower, but I don’t really see how it would be put under much stress as long as it’s loaded properly. The shape of the magazine body is different from a GI mag, which combines with the follower design to help keep it level as it feeds.
The one issue I could see is if debris (like sand) gets inside, since there’s not much clearance inside and no hole at the bottom to drain it out. It could start to cause wear on the follower, but I’d probably just make sure to disassemble and shake out the mag if it got dirty like that.

My concern is how plastic gets brittle over time and that these mags won't accept standard follower replacements...
That’s certainly a concern, but not all plastics get brittle over time - it depends on what type of plastic they used, which unfortunately we can’t easily know. Some plastics will appear unchanged long after we’ve all turned to dust. If material is a concern, I would be equally worried about what type of steel they used and what kind of coating, since both could be prone to corrosion over time and might not last as long as the plastic components.
That's true. Are there any all metal magazines that you know of?
