    Rough cut chamber lugs?

Disclaimer: No manufacturer bashing here, just a general question

I got a 6920 awhile back and kept it as a backup gun, using a Noveske as my daily driver. Never really used it much until last weekend.

I decided to take a carbine course and ran it through its paces. I did a deep cleaning on it afterwards, when I noticed some of the lugs on the chamber looked very rough around the edges (photos attached). It's very rough looking it person and not clean cut. I've never seen this on a chamber lug before, so I have no context to how "normal" this is.

I know that this is not a good thing on bolt lugs, but I've never seen it come up with a chamber before. Any cause for concern? Or is this just typical of Colt's function before finish approach?

How do your bolt lugs look? That would be indicative if anything serious was going on.

Looks like the mill bit was getting a bit dull.

As long as it functions properly, I'd forget it. About the only thing you can do if it bugs you is rebarrel the gun.
