Very interesting developments. I was with a friend shooting a variety of .300BO through s 16” AR a couple of weeks ago (125-220gr). At 75 yards the 150 gr Bullets seemed to be slamming the steel much harder. The velocity on the handload 150gr was only about 1950fps as measured with a LabRadar. Another 300fps with the HAMR would be great for deer. I would like to see what it does with the lighter Bullets in soft point and TSX for defense. The 150 would be devastating for defense but wonder if too much compared to a 125 gr SP in say a suburban setting. In a rural setting I would think the 159gr would be a great all around load.
