    second AR

Started looking for a second ar. I have a colt 6920 trooper.
At first I was looking for a cheap back up. Then I came across this. Kinda looks like a no brainer. I guess the colt would become the back up
Anyone have experience with this exact package and retailer?

I have never done business with that vendor but I have that same AR, Daniel Defense DDM4 V7. I have an Eotech on top with a G33 magnifier; great setup. That's a good price, better than what I paid. I wouldn't hesitate to jump on that.

Actually not a bad deal at all for a DD. It is a quality gun but i do prefer BCM and some others over DD because of furniture and things like the way they do their castle nut

It isnt a bad choice at all though. Might want to look into it i think Mrgunsandgear might have a discount code for them to make it cheaper

DD makes solid kit and that seems a decent price.

I’ve ordered from vendor, albeit not firearms. Was a fine experience.
The price seems solid for a nice trigger with a free floated DD.

But honestly...how is this different from your trooper? Unless you just want a second AR without a different sort of application.

6920 Trooper is a good all around rifle for defense, competition, etc. The DD no doubt also is, but as has been observed, it's similar to the Trooper.

Why not get something quite different? Brownell M16A1 reproduction, AR-9, M16A4, Smith 15-22?

I have a standard LE9620 and recently bought the DDM4v7 both to upgrade and have a second AR to use as a backup, competition gun, etc. etc. without messing with my primary AR.

For now the LE6920 is going to be fitted with the carry handle iron sight and the standard FSB. I might get a vortex RDS for it if I come across another good deal.

I was originally thinking about a shtf rifle for the wife. My son is only 4 right now, but one day he will need a gun too.
They arent getting any cheaper, and I saw this, so I thought it might be a good time.
A smith 15-22 would be useful, but wouldnt cover the spare shtf part

Next time you shouldn’t post up a link to a site that only has one in stock amigo.
