SIG USA is garbage- all of it. I sold off all my SIG USA stuff and now only own SIG Germany products- which are no longer supported. Basically, buy SIG at your own risk. The older production products and imports aren't supported while their new production products are just junk.

Not my experience at all. I have both all German & Exter guns and no issues. Probably more Sigs than any other brand, but far from a fanboy. I will say I got rid of my Kimber & SA 1911s after getting my first Sig 1911. I have the nightmare, nighmare carry, scorpion, & C3. I think they're a great choice for an off-the-shelf 1911. Otherwise P226 Legion, P226, P320, P938, P229, P220, P220 9mm, P365. Only issue I had out of any of them was the P320 had some type of crazy heavy grease in the striker channel that caused occasional light strikes until I sorted that out.
