I think they will vote the idiot out of office, unless they like pain and suffering, as he is in over his head and is clearly incompetent in doing the job.

The black face would be a campaign killer for a conservative. But for a liberal it gives his party a cover excuse to sideline him without having to say he was incompetent. If he was doing a stellar then they would let it slide. But he seems more of a placeholder than a national leader so my guess is they will use this easy out opportunity and move on with someone else.
