Buffer is unmarked, and weighs 5.4 oz.

Spring is stronger than M4 version but I have no way to measure.

Yeah, mine is also unmarked. Been considering a heavier one to ease some of the bounce, but hate to mess with what works.

Does it have a spacer at the other end of the spring to limit stroke?

It does indeed. This keeps the bolt from going too far back, and slamming forward hard against the bolt catch.

    Uni:
    We have PM'd recently.
Two points. I use the 20s for USPSA mandatory reloads. First mag is a 20 with magpuls, then a better grip with 32s for the reload.
Also, I didn't mention that I e-filed the gun to 10.5, if you can, it handles much better. Probably why their subguns are 10.5.
Of course I made a mistake on the form and got rejected in 17 days. Good people, I refiled that day and the examiner turned it around in 15 minutes.

I did my FFA via snail mail and paper, and it took 9 months...this was in the run-up to the 2016 election, but still, that's absurd. The electronic filing was not working at that point.
p7fl, concur entirely, it's a whole different critter with the buzz-gun barrel length; handles better, looks right, and likely gives up little muzzle velocity. There's not a soul who's shot mine that didn't want one.

I scored a LNIB (2 mags through it), 1 Colt mag and 2 metal forms for $1,100...also came with a Geissele (B-GRF). An item of note...the AR6951 does not like after-market triggers. The B-GRF isn't on Geissele's website and can only purchase through Brownells.

I installed an extra LE6920 trigger and that mitigated all the problems I was experiencing...FTE, trigger not resetting and multiple round bursts. Through my research, another 6951 owner had experienced the same exact issues using the exact same Geissele (B-GRF) trigger...he too reinstalled the USGI trigger and problems ceased.

'Dave, what is the weight of the OEM buffer?

Anti', been running a Geissele SSA in mine, with no drama whatsoever. Geissele is non-commitial about this issue, but the Colt does have a ramped bolt, and mine has been fine.
