You'd think so... to these assholes, "the foreign enemy of my domestic enemy is my friend and 'politics stops at the water's edge' only when WE'RE in charge."

Ah, putting that Obama cash to good use I see....

Sham trial is getting set to go. I guess we'll hear all the democrat complaints in the form of amendments to the operating rules for the rest of the day. Part of me wishes that the dems did control it because they'd overreach just like they did in the House, but never get near the needed votes to convict and remove. Now the Dems get the talking points about how unfair this all is and use that to try to flip the senate.

I've noticed that this is all shifted, for what the 4th time, from bibery and on through to now election interference for 2020. Sure. Already try to delegitimize his second win. Truly disgusting.

    It's that simple.

Okay, how many Democrats and RINOs would shed a tear if Iran went through with this?

Remember the Middle East countries dancing in the streets after 9/11? You'd see the same in places far closer to home.

Remember, these are the same people that Pelosi had to give the "mean mom" look at when they started cheering after the impeachment vote.

Back on topic. After listening to several hours of the biggest political trial of our time, all I've learned is that I've found the ultimate cure for insomnia. If it keeps going like this, maybe Mitch should drag it out longer. LOL

I saw the excerpts of where Trump's lawyers basically called out Schiff right to his face.

I have a feeling this is going to get downright ugly before it's over.

When do we get to have the minority day for the House impeachment in the intel and judiciary committees?

Only because I like trying to be fair: The deal resulted in Iran getting access to some of its own funds — assets that had been frozen — it wasn’t cash given to Iran by the United States.

And $150 billion is a high-end estimate and the one with the least evidence to support it. The high-end estimate from the U.S. Treasury Department in 2015 was $56 billion, and outside analysts believed the number could be lower.

Per the deal, the United States and other countries lifted the sanctions and the funds were unfrozen after nuclear inspectors verified in January 2016 that Iran was doing enough to curb its nuclear program.

So, it isn't as if President Obama gave them anything of ours.

And don't fret, today I called out a Liberal kid at Mickey D's who entered our coffee conversation bitching about President Trump droning folks, reminding him that President Obama was the premier whack-a-mole authorizer and that his (Obama's) strikes had reportedly killed more civilians.

It's 10:35 PM New Mexico time watching this impeachment mess. I just finished installing a vintage 1960's teardrop forward assist on an upper while watching the tube. Building an XM177E2 Franken Colt out of assorted vintage parts. Cure for insomnia? Not me - irritating TV keeps me awake, so why not keep my hands busy with productive activity....
