    No, actually the other way around. The Chinese are freaking out over the trade issues. It isn't that amazing. They are way more sensitive to foreign trade than we are, as a whole. Yes, parts of the US economy take a hit, but pretty much everyone in China is close to international trade. Yes, it sucks to be a soy bean farmer or someone who sells things to them. The Chinese have far more to lose than we do.
    The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

    My understanding of the new treaty is that it's about food, the Chinese settled with us about them importing our farm goods.
    I would guess a lot of those soy beans are loaded and on a boat now steaming toward China. I would guess when Billions of people go to bed hungry, something has to be done if you want to stay in power and no doubt their military was eating well.

    I have to agree. It is indeed costing us some $$$ right now but the Chinese can't afford it economically or it's inevitable impact socially. It is THEY who are at a disadvantage, not us.

    Was listening to the Mo Kelly show on AM640 KFI here in LA and he had a former FBI agent on and they were discussing everything from Hillary being investigated by Comey all to now and he came off as someone who was trying to put the FBI and other agencies in a positive light and to backhandedly bash the president. I really felt like he was trying to protect his own legacy by association to the FBI, it was like he was saying “they’re all hard working honest people, they, and by extension me, don’t do anything wrong”

    I didn’t hear the whole interview but the ten or so minutes I did catch gave me that impression.

    Well, my father was FBI and retired out in the early 2000s. Back then it was a VERY different era and VERY different agency.

    The regular AAR I get about the retired agents association luncheons have me a bit surprised they as a collective haven’t stormed the mothership in DC, burned it to the ground, and hung everyone from the monuments in and around the National Mall. That’s how much they resent the current status of it all.

    That is what is needed. I wish they would. If there is an existential threat to our country it is this deep state and its hubris and hatred of all things independent and honorable. Trump is literally the only man standing up the globalist deep state. If they are not rooted out before his presidency expires then our country will spiral into tyranny and serfdom. And they will not be rooted out by a few trials. It would be better to fire the entire DOJ and CIA and start over from the basics with new people then to allow these traitors to influence and undermine policy and elected officials or duly appointed staff.

    I think we have seen the depth of the treason and it has tentacles too broad and deep to root out one by one. Burn it down to save the electoral government.

    I don't really care what some random Talk Show Host or former Agent has to say;
    I believe that for the most part Americans don't trust the FBI anymore, for that matter that statement may apply to all Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.
    If I was asked to answer some questions or offer assistance in some other way, I believe I would offer a Nerp and be on my way.
    It only took the actions and words of a half dozen or so Agents to take the shine right off that apple.
    I would gladly help a local LEO, but the feds, it aint gonna happen.

    Frankly if anything I think this impeachment train that you’re on will be derailed if for nothing else than the names of the Ukrainians are too hard to say and remember. That and without a true smoking gun most people really struggle to see that there is a there, there. Especially in the light on the blatant impropriety of the Biden position.

    It’s been off all week and the new shows had really nothing new this Sunday. If nothing Republicans have finally found a coherent response to a lot of those gotcha questions.

    I think there is a Democratic debate on Tuesday? If they go after Biden on this and you know someone like Gabbard will do then this gets interesting.
