Well, strictly speaking (Goldwater Act), Secretary of the Navy isn't in the chain of command, any more than the Joint Chiefs are. Command runs President >> SECDEF>> Field commanders.

BUT, yeah. If I were SECDEF and the Secretary of the Navy went and did some deal behind my back, no matter how high-minded the motivation, he'd be on a lifeboat in one minute.

Interesting that Sondland doesn't sing the song the ComDems want to hear at the open hearing and a few days later these accusations arise. I am sure it is all coincidental, though.....

Maybe if he'd just said what they told him to say; those accusations would've stayed buried or not been made up at all. I'm not sure which is the case since the ComDems are known to fabricate such accusations and compensate those who play along.

A more down to earth issue is: if, or when, Rudy gets indicted, will he bite the bullet and take his licking, or will he make a deal and rat out Trump?

Someone explain this to me.... The House Intelligence report it's saying that Trump "subverted US foreign policy on Ukraine". How can the guy that controls foreign relations subvert foreign relations policies?
