NFA stamp rush processing for LEO?

Awhile back I remember hearing about a new rush processing option for active Law Enforcement individual purchase with letter from agency stating it would be used for work. I remember you had to email something specific after the check got cashed, and it was for individuals only. Now despite my search attempts I can’t find the info anywhere, and I’m ready to finally buy a suppressor. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think if this were a thing we would have heard about it with the number of places that allow personally owned rifles for officers.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

It has happened before. You can call the NFA branch and ask about it. As I recall it was examiner specific.

Shit. They let that crooked chicago FORMER cop off when he had an unregistered SBR that he USED TO use for duty.
