Exclamation Minimum Posts Required for GD has Changed

In lieu of the upcoming election year, we have decided to lower the minimum posts required to engage in GD from 200 to 30. The 30 posts still need to be quality/informative posts in the other forums (except EE which is also a minimum of 30 posts). A user also has to be registered for at least 2 days.

Note: Any user can bypass the 30 post minimums by becoming an M4C Member Sponsor which is $20 a year and has a number of other advantages. The M4C Newsletter often has a $5 discount code--make sure you are subscribed!

In almost 10 years I did not know that.
    Might get in on it.

It's worth it, Fly, especially when a membership discount offer drops. As it is, I'm tempted to pre-pay another year on the next one when it comes out... surely you get fifteen bucks a year's value out of the site.

You really have to ask why Conservatives have guns? Because Liberals block freeways, burn cities, throw Molotov cocktails, loot, turn over cop cars, and think this behavior is Socially Acceptable.

It used to have articles by the likes of Ken Hackathorn and Jeff Gonzales, but of late it seems that most of them are a list of hot and happening threads from around the forum.

I miss the DeFoor subforum. That whole SPR thread was epic.

We still have articles...in fact, Jeff G. has one coming out in the next newsletter. However, we do like to give members a snapshot of what is happening on the forum between the article releases (new sponsors, new threads, deals, & offers).

**Also, we are always looking for new authors. If any member would like to submit an article on training, tactics, observations, etc. please send to info@m4carbine.net and it will be reviewed.

We have released one every 2 weeks since January of 2015. All members were initially setup on it. Any users who changed their email addresses would have no longer received it--and anyone who unsubscribed, of course.

Often, the articles are also posted on the forum. Like this one from Jeff G. on 8/30 in the Training and Tactics forum.

The last 20 issues can be seen here. We'll work on posting the older articles on the site for those who missed them.

I remember when there were no political discussions allowed...or at least it was HIGHLY frowned upon.

Is this a way to keep political posts in GD instead of people with 2 posts posting politics in the general AR forum? Trying to keep the mods from going crazy locking threads?

I started a thread when I started receiving the newsletter. Sometimes there would be some discussion, but not much. Some members learned that it existed because of it. I can’t remember exactly why I stopped, but it didn’t seem like very many members wanted to discuss it. I thought there were some short yet interesting thoughts shared by LAV, Hackathorn, Gonzales, etc. Nothing groundbreaking that I can recall, but definitely worth the time to read for the price most members pay around here. Searching “m4c newsletter” would probably find it.

If that is the case then are we going to let EuroDriver back in?
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.
