    Used to be able to count on him to provide a balanced legal view.

    Lately appears to be more emotional rants.

    I believe Fox gets less credit than deserved for having a team with balanced view points then CNN or similar does.

    I did not like Shep for a couple of reasons, but do not mind someone who uses critical thinking to expose more sides of a discussion. Donna Braselle, the blond Obama press secretary (Marie something?), there are a dozen smart, articulate dems on staff at any given time. And yes, even Juan Williams. (Maybe not quite as smart)

    Makes for better discussion than anything I see on CNN.

    Having raving Trump Derangement Syndrome talking heads does not create “fair and balanced.” Just unhinged.

    It should be exceedingly easy to report on the good things Trump has done as well as the less desirable. There are dozens of “news” outlets more than happy to report on the less desirable aspects so Fox does not need a dozen TDS mouthpieces.

    What would be refreshing would be objective reporting by all Fox News heads on good and bad aspects without the unhinged factor. No kowtowing to DC political correctness, staunch support and analysis for the Constitution and legal process ( as Judge Nap USED to be), and no glib repeating of DNC talking points. Humorous appreciation of some Trump antics would be refreshing too and not taking everything so damn literal and “serious threat to democracy.”

    Trump has derailed a lot of nefarious globalist machinations and should be given credit for that. Any commentator that can’t say one good thing about Trump it any president should be fired for too much bias. I would be willing to praise Obama if he ever did anything positive. If someone points one out I would want to hear about it in the news, too. Objective reporting.

    Irrelevant baggage: Williams, Napolitano, Wallace, and it seems a flock of lib chicks (I quit watching when even Hannity went never Trumper in the campaign). I check the Fox website and skip over about 60% liberal rant I could read at MSNBC, CNN, ABC, etc.

    Some days I come close to wishing AOC gets the presidency so the liberals get the country they always wanted and we get to the rocky bottom of the abyss faster so everyone wakes the hell up and we can start building from a simpler realistic basis, again.

    The America you would get for a while would be urban dwellers fighting over food in dumpsters, unrestrained crime and social chaos. There wouldn't be any rebuilding, at least for a generation. Instead you'd have massive loss of life to violence and starvation. It would be an ugly time to live, at least for large population centers. The folks in fly-over country would fare better, and come together for more localized social organization, fending off the refugees from other areas, or being selective as to who gets accepted.

    I realize that. But I fear the most likely alternative is continued slow slide into socialist serfdom under a tyrannical oligarchy in which many more lives will be lost and many millions suffer abject poverty and enslavement for many generations. There is a delicate balance of having enough citizens armed to stave this off and not jumping to insurrection, and waiting too long and lose the financial, privacy and armament means to do so.

    That is why rather than either of those two futures I would prefer gutting DOJ and CIA and DOS at a minimum in order to cleanse our government of seditious bastards.

    I just happened to be watching Fox News while sitting at the airport in Boston. Shep made his announcement and a few people in the room stated “well, that’s certainly different”. I added “I wonder if he is going to pull a Howard Beale, you know, from the movie Network?” The quote slowly entered my mind......”I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore!!!” That would have been priceless. Then again, Neil Cavuto just after Shep all but bawled crazy tears on live TV....even better.

    Exactly. He had almost a 180 in what seemed like overnight. Not sure what happened but he changed his tune and is not the same guy.
