Why as that on a forum dedicated to firearms vs fitness? There's lots of certs out there, ranging from silly easy to plenty of studying required. None of them really qualify one to be a great trainer per se, but gyms etc want to see them for liability and such. On a search I find:

As I have read in many articles and internet in looking at the NASM, ISSA personal training certifications. I have just found an article https://www.ptpioneer.com/how-to-bec...sonal-trainer/ related to me but am not fully agree with this guy. what you think about this link. Do you think the information is good or does you can suggest a much better page, article for reading and learning?

NASM or NCSF, were the certificates I have held in the past. The cert doesn't really matter that just gets you in the door. I have known excellent trainers who have no cert, and crappy trainers with every cert imaginable. The two I listed have tests that are much harder than any of the others at the time. I haven't had my cert for over 10 years now, I will be getting it back again early next year. I will more than likely go NASM as it is the gold standard, and accepted by more gyms than the others. Some gyms will only accept NASM.
