    SHTF hornady ammo

Getting some SHTF ammo before prices go up any more and need some opinions. Right now I have two choices either TAP 60 gr or 75 gr match BTHP ammo. If this was 75 gr TAP I wouldnt have to ask but its all I can get right now. The 60 gr TAP is 16.75 a box compared to 75 gr BTHP for 13.75 a box. This is for my LMT 14.5 in 1 in 7 twist barrel. Which would you get?

Usually the heavier the better. Since you have 1/7 twist, I'd go with the 75 TAP.

Go with the 75gr. Also look at the Horn. 75gr TAP Practice (good stuff).

Another vote for 75 grain TAP.

Ended up getting 200 rds of 75 gr hornady (not TAP) from my shop and 80 rds of of MK 262 from a friend. If I could get 75 gr tap I would have got it. Its freakin nuts, Im in charge of ordering ammo at my shop and all the vendors are out of everything. Get it while you can because it could be a while before good ammo is available in large quantities again.

    SHTF?

    200 rounds?

200 rounds wouldn't even fill up my load out. 364 rounds, 12 mags with 28 rounds, plus a mag with 28 in the gun, Son.

Yes I know its not alot but its a start I have a lot more stashed around the shop that will be bought a little at a time. Plus I just recieved the LMT upper and ten more mags the other day so my wallet is a little thin right now. Its ok though because Obama is going to be in office and he's going to spread the wealth
