    300 BLK powders.

1-What are your go-to powders for 300 Blackout?
2-Do you usually use the same powder for Supers and Subs?

I have hundreds of the Hornady 150gr SP from promos that I can load for plinking, and may as well figure out a load to stack deep. Right now I'm eyeing H110 and Lil' Gun for Supers and CFE Black for subs.

    300 BLK powders.

For 150s I use 5744. Cycles them great in a 9 but it is a little dirty. Otherwise I use CFE BLK for anything heavier.

H110 or W296 which are the same powder now is good for supers but I prefer 110/125 grain bullets.

Agreed. I'm just looking to load up 500 free bullets I have on the shelf.

    Thanks. I hadn't considered 5744.

What barrel length are you using?

I use the 150s as subs in a 9 SBR. Cheap, quiet plinking.

If you have a longer barrel, you might have an issue getting the 150s to go subsonic & cycle reliably. Obviously, supers wont be an issue.

To date I've had the best results with subsonics with w296, and will also work on that with supers (don't have a chosen load yet). I bought some N-110 to try that to see if it'll run cleaner while performing well, no one seems to know much about it yet.

H110 / W296 supersonic (and is also really good in .357MAG)

A1680 subsonic (and I have no other use for this powder and would not stock it if not for 300BLK subs)

16" carbine gas, 7" pistol gas. Suppressed, unsuppressed, everything seems to 'just work'. I use the MBC 245gr coated bullets for subs & 168gr SMKs for supersonic

10.3" I had a MUR on the shelf beside a 10" ALG rail and decided on a 10.3" barrel to clear the handguard. Probably should have done a 9" barrel.

Tried a few powders, but seem to like A1680 so far.

Just loaded some 150's with CFE BLK. We will see how those do.
