This is 1:8 and 20 inches. I have the 18 inch one - it shoots fine to 600 - all the further I've had it:

Same barrel in 22 inches: http://www.gmriflebarrel.com/gm-m25-...page=2#reviews

Read the descriptions and reviews 'honed' is the way they say 'lapped.' I called them to find out.

Here is a 24 incher from WOA: https://www.whiteoakarmament.com/sho...e-barrels.html

ETA: 1:8 barrels. I have a WOA service rifle with a 1:7.5 Shilen Ratchet. I don't shoot to it's capability, but it is dead nuts accurate with the 75gr Hornady (8026 'Brown' box)

I have used Faxon barrels with good success. They make a variety of weights and lengths.

You won't go wrong with using the Green Mountain barrels. I've built many an AR using their barrels, great quality, performance and never an issue. Check out all of their AR barrels available in the AR section .. so many different ones for different applications and needs..

I have the GM M20 20” 223 Wilde stainless fluted barrel, 1:8 twist and shoots 600yd exceptionally well with 75gr BTHP Match or Hans loaded equivalent ammo. I highly recommend the barrel for an SPR like setup shooting to 600. Longer really isn’t that necessary.

Check out Rainier Arms match barrels. I don't have this particular one but every Rainier barrel I've had has been top notch in terms of quality and performance.

I don't have anything longer than 20" for a 223/556 barrel in at platform. You will be time out to 600 with 16" imo. Going with 20 will get dinner extra velocity.

I would look at the Rainier seems regular match barrels as they are around $200. A member in TOS did done testing on one and had very good results (sub moa) with 5x5 targets

Another really good option if you can live with 20" is White Oak service barrels. They are priced decent at around $225 and are proven tack drivers

Another vote for WOA here. I have an 18” 1:7 SPR barrel on my SPR-ish build and it’s a tack driver.
