I think this was said earlier, but remember that most of these are not truly ambidextrous. Most simply have added some ambi features.

    Happy to clarify.

FWIW, LMT does make a nice lower, and you could definitely do worse.

All AR ambi lowers, Even the ones with a right side bolt catch favor a right handed shooter in use. None of them have mirrored controls to where what you do right and left side is exactly the same. I have short fingers so dropping the bolt with standard right side bolt catch/release paddle while shooting left handed with my left trigger finger isn’t a possibility. The right side bolt catch on both MARS-L and LWRC IC is moved more rearward than the standard right side one. The LWRC is a little too far forward for my fingers to comfortably reach and the flat paddle doesn’t help. MARS-L is easier to reach and push because the paddle is raised and it is closer to the grip. But neither right side catch/release paddles are in the same spot as the left side bolt release for hitting with my support hand thumb during a left handed reload. In this respect KACs bolt release button is more closely placed in the same spot on the receiver as the left side bolt catch for continuity in use.

Who makes a better lower than LMT?

Certainly not KAC, and this is coming from someone who uses KAC lowers exclusively.

I like my KAC lowers better than my LMT lowers.
