    Gas tube problems

Does anyone have a picture of where the gas tube would meet the gas key? I had to replace my tube and it's short stroking now and I'm concerned the tube it too short. It short strokes work. 223 loads but runs fine with 5.56.

Should be in the center of the circular cut out in the upper receiver.

Dang thanks looks like it's long enough, not sure why it's short stroking now.

Why did you need to replace the gas tube?
Did you pull the gas block when you replaced it?
Where did you get the gas tube?
    Who make the upper?

I replaced it because my previous gas tube broke off into my gas block. I replaced the whole block also as it had the tip of the tube in it. I got the gas tube and block off of midway or primary arms cheap block and tube. And the upper is a gun show special kind of thing with no manufacturer markings.

I had a feeling you were going to say all that. Most likely the gas block is misaligned.

    No you’re not.

The components are just likely trash quality.

Would we recommend a new block and a proper alignment then?
