I only run brass, 55 to 77 grain.

    Awesome product.
I just got one of their BFH 11.5s and was surprised by how overgassed it seems to be, as I thought BCM didn’t do that. Not as badly overgassed as my other 11.5 was before I “fixed” it with an EZ-tune, but definitely a gassy little thing. This one is a potential EZ-tune candidate as well I’d say.

If you ran things a little "tight" gas-wise and wanted to shoot some lower-powered stuff (like .223 in a 5.56 setup) could you just drop buffer weight as a quick remedy?

I assumed I could do that and swap the H buffer for a CAR buffer if need be, but the .223 I’ve run through the SBR with the EZ-Tune has cycled and locked the gun open fine. I don’t typically buy steel case at all. Although the way things are going I may have to loosen my ammo standards. I did specify both brass and steel case 5.56 and .223 in the drop down when I bought the tube on the BRT site though. So it’s quite possible it would run lower powered .223 just fine, I’m just not anxious to try it.

That's what I'd try. I have a A5 with AH4 and a green spring. I was shooting Wolf Gold just fine, though it's not a weak .223. I'll have to try my Fiocchi .223 since it's slower.
It is from the construction of underground FEMA camps. I can't say more because there a guy parked in front of house in an AMC Pacer. He is acting like he talking on the phone, but I know better.

I have to sign off now & put my laptop in the microwave.

It all depends how you have it set up.

Mine was overgassed and violent with a springco blue and h2.
223 cycled fine supressed with new gas tube. Ill try it without the can.

    Clint,

In what situation would you recommend the EZTune gas tube over your Insertable port or MicroTUNE gas block? Or vice versa.

Say this is for a new build.

Regular a new build -> MicroTUNE gas block

Retrofit while keeping FSB or pinned GB -> EZTUNE Gas Tube

Dedicated suppressed build with option for SHTF unsuppressed use -> EZTUNE Gas Tube + backup standard gas tube

I see the inserts have been removed from the website, have the gas tubes and gas block replaced them? Would it still be possible to purchase inserts?
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
